Refund and Exchange Policy - SHAMA (Kuwait)
At SHAMA, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we are here to help. Please review our refund and exchange policy below, applicable to purchases made from SHAMA in Kuwait.
Returns
You have 14 days from the date you received your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all tags attached. Items that show signs of wear, damage, or alteration will not be accepted for return.
To initiate a return, please contact us at support@shamaworld.net with your order number and reason for return. We will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the item is defective or incorrect. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 7-14 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
Please note: Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund, unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon receipt, or if you received an incorrect item. If you need to exchange an item for the same item, please contact us at support@shamaworld.net within 14 days of receiving your order to arrange an exchange. We will provide instructions for returning the original item and shipping the replacement. Depending on stock availability, exchanges may be processed as a refund and a new purchase.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons or their nature, including but not limited to: intimate apparel, and personalized or custom-made items. Sale items or items purchased with a discount code are also considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are defective. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received and approved, a gift certificate will be issued. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will be notified of your return.
